ABOUT STARS BASKETBALL

Since its inception over 25 years ago, STARS Basketball has been providing youth athletic programming in and around the Calgary area. With a focus on basketball, STARS has become one of Canada’s leading developmental basketball programs for youth today.

Our professionally certified coaches are trained to foster growth and development for all ages and ability levels and our programs are developed in accordance with Sport Canada's Long Term Athlete Development model.

At STARS, our purpose is to kindle the love for basketball. We believe that every child can benefit from playing the game and pride ourselves in promoting fair play, positive attitudes, teamwork, self-respect and personal self-esteem.

• With a variety of top level and professional certified coaches, we'll find the right instructor for you.• Because we have more instructors, our class sizes are smaller and will guarantee more one-on-one coaching.

Small Classes

  • More 1-on-1 coaching

  • Minimum of 3-5 coaches per class

• We offer a variety of different skill levels from complete beginner to more advanced.• This will ensure kids are placed in the right category to build confidence, make friends and have fun!
